Lyons Farmette Wedding
invitation suite
This little ditty was my first involvement in a styled wedding shoot, and I'm so glad I was invited to play. The colorful southwest- and geode-inspired day was a showcase of fantastic Colorado vendors. As the stationery designer, most of my work had to be done prior to the big day, with nothing but a Pinterest board to direct my pieces, so I was a bit nervous about my stuff fitting in with the overall style. I went exploring and found a killer geode-patterned art paper that was tweaked into the right color palette, then lucked out with free samples of gem-colored envelopes. The final (and my favorite) touch was applying gold foil accents to the agate elements on each piece. Boy was I delighted to see the final photos, with the stationery suite looking right at home alongside all the other amazing work.
And I wasn't alone in thinking the shoot was lovely—photos and notes from our shoot were published on The Wedding Chicks blog in late 2016.
